TOPICS: Weird Sport Germany Brunsbuttel Land Niedersachsen In the spirit of the FIFA 2010 World Cup, on the mud flats of Brunsbuettel near Hamburg, Germany holds the annual the Wadden Olympics known as 'Wattoluempiade': translated 'mud Olympics'. 16 teams take part in soccer events as well as volleyball, handball and 'Tampentrecken', a sort of tug-of-war over the river Elbe.
