What do you like to do on a Sunday?

Sundays in Prague depend on the season. During summer I need to be outside, most likely with a picnic. Stromovka Park is my favourite for relaxing, Hvězda or Divorká Šárka for walking. Winters will see me keeping warm in a cafe, preferably with some friends — but a good book will suffice. The Grand Café Orient if I'm in the mood for lovely interiors and cake, Café Montemarte if I'm feeling more literary or philosophical, Blatouch if I want to be left alone.

What's your idea of a good night out?

Come Friday night, I just want to hang with friends in the neighbourhood pub for lots of beer and good times. U Černého Vola is a good grungy pub, Cloud 9 is excellent for cocktails and the view, while Bokovka has an excellent wine selection.

And on a long weekend?

Long weekends mean an escape to the countryside. Small villages with charming squares and lots of outdoor activities are all over the Czech Republic. Staying in town will see me try to catch up on art exhibits. Leica Gallery, Rudolfinum, the Cubism Museum and the Decorative Arts Museum are some of my faves.
