Best destinations for a holiday fling

Best destinations for a holiday fling

So, do you come here often?

Australia's women have spoken and declared that Ibiza, Las Vegas and the Greek Islands are the top spots for a fleeting romance.

Now, before you start packing your bags, you might also be interested to learn where to find true love.

Paris, New York and Bali are where you are most likely to find long-term relationships according to a lastminute.com.au survey.

Over half of the women questioned (61 per cent to be precise) use holidays to keep the romance alive in a relationship, with those who are married slightly less inclined compared to those yet to tie the knot.

It was also revealed that one in three Aussie women have trouble dragging their companion away, with the most common reasons being that their partner is a workaholic, tight with money or prioritises sporting commitments.

Other excuses included that their partners don't like to travel, have different holiday tastes and are lazy homebodies.

If you're in a relationship, don't assume you're always the preferred holiday companion though.

According to the findings, women rated their partner and their kids in the majority of cases as their favourite travel companion but their best friend accounted for 15 per cent of the votes and another six per cent preferred to fly solo.
