Mardi Gras tilt-shift time-lapse awesomeness

, Prev Next

Check out this amazing tilt-shift photography of last year's Mardi Gras parade in Taylor Square, Sydney.

It was created by Sydney photographer Keith Loutit. What an incredible talent. I was at this year's parade, and his video does an unbelievable job capturing the mood, and encapsulating the glitter and excitement in a few short minutes.

Check out a few stills from the video, embiggened. Doesn't it look like a toy truck?

And these are the Surf Lifesavers with Pride.

And an entire Lego town cheering on a float.

And lastly, some boys from the gAyFL.

If you enjoyed that, be sure to go to Keith's website to watch Bathtub IV. It's a gobsmacking time-lapse of the beach, shot with the assistance of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.

Kudos, Keith!

You can see my friend Gloria with the hula hoop float, which was the last one before the crowds all followed the parade. Such a cool video!
