A man has been arrested at New Delhi's International airport after he was caught trying to board a plane with a monkey in his underpants.

The man, who had travelled from Bangkok with two companions, was about to catch a connecting flight to Dubai when airport staff discovered a 17cm loris monkey hidden in his underwear during a security check.

A second loris was discovered in an airport rubbish bin.

"They had abandoned him as they were unable to carry him," a security official told the Press Trust of India.

Loris monkeys are native to South East Asia and India. The species is endangered in many areas but popular on the black market as an exotic pet because of its near-ridiculous levels of cuteness.

An Asian slow loris. Adorable, but endangered.

I feel sorry for the monkey....he really has seen thing he should not have, just look at that face. Then I looked up at the top add placement and saw an add for Bonobos Pants....great placement guys, you can't buy that kind of publicity!!!
If it was the slow Loris, they are actually venomous. Take a brave man to shove one of those down in amongst his boys!
